Johnston's Mobile Notary has the right to refuse service due to: invalid ID, unwillingness of
signer, incomplete documents, inability to pay fee, inappropriate or illegal notarial request.
What To Bring
Proper Identification is required for any notary service requiring verification of signature.
California recognizes the following types of identification as valid if issued within the last 5
years:
California Driver's Licence or State ID Card
A US Passport
The following types of identification are acceptable if they are current or have been issued in
the past 5 years:
Driver's License or ID Card issued by another state
Mexican or Canadian Driver's License issued by an authorized agent
US Military Identification Card
Foreign Passport if stamped by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service
All Identification Cards must contain a photo, physical description, signature and serial
number.
